What Home Means to Me

What does home mean to you? National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) holds a "What Home Means to Me" poster contest every year for grades K-12 who live in affordable housing across the country. The contest is a collaborative effort of NAHRO's state, regional, and national organizations.
Various CDA properties hosted events for the 2025 poster contest, and we are grateful to have had an awesome turnout! As an Agency, we were able to submit 5 of the posters (pictured below) to Minnesota NAHRO where they will be voted on for a chance to advance to the regional and national level. In the end, 12 winners will be featured in NAHRO's "What Home Means to Me" calendar for 2026.
