At the end of January, 2024, I moved into my new townhome in Carver County. Finding a land trust property helped me achieve my dreams of home ownership because the property was much more affordable and within my means. I'm not sure how long it would have taken me to purchase a home otherwise. I really appreciate the fact that the Carver County CDA looks out for its residents of all income levels and provides such an excellence program to help lower income individuals get a leg up on the American dream!

I live in Waconia in a wonderful townhouse. I lived in an apartment in Eden Prairie and was on disability. I had gone back to work and wanted to be closer to my grandkids and sister. I looked at an older inexpensive townhouse and my sister sent me a message to the realtor asking if it had a laundry room. She said it did not but had a great program that might help. About 6 months later I was living in this home with the help of the CDA. A miracle I believe.
