New funds look to make Carver County homeownership more affordable

At the Dec. 19 Carver County board meeting, Deputy Executive Director of the Minnesota Housing Partnership Elizabeth Glidden presented the board with information about the Carver County Community Development Agency’s request to create a local housing trust fund.
The Minnesota Housing Partnership is a nonprofit organization that “advocates for equitable housing policy, conducts research to inform solutions, and delivers community development services throughout the country,” according to Glidden’s presentation.
