Homebuyer Education Hosted at the Carver County CDA on May 3, 2025

The Carver County CDA is partnering with the Dakota County CDA to host a Homestretch homebuyers education course on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The course will be hosted at the Carver County CDA office, located at 705 N Walnut Street, Chaska, MN. There is a registration fee, registration is required.

Home Stretch Homebuyer Education teaches homebuyers about the entire homebuying process - from beginning to end - and the responsibilities that come along with purchasing a home.

• Budgeting and Credit Issues
• Financing and Qualifying for a Home
• Shopping for a Home
• The Purchase Process 
• Closing on a Home
• Life as a Homeowner

Home Stretch is taught by knowledgeable professionals in the homebuying field including a certified Home Stretch educator, mortgage lenders, realtors and home inspectors. Upon completion of this program, Home Stretch participants will receive a Home Stretch certificate.
