The CDA is excited to announce the launch of a new program for businesses of Carver County who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Funding for this programs comes from the State of Minnesota and Carver County.

Businesses in Carver County are continuing to see the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including financial hardships.  Businesses with less than 75 FTEs, $5M in annual revenue and that have been impacted by an Executive Order or have seen at least a 10 percent loss of revenue since November 1, 2020 are eligible to apply for up to $20,000 in funding.  Funds will be available to assist with operating expenses such as rent, mortgage, utilities, supplier payments and more.

Businesses who received funds in 2020 from the State of Minnesota or Carver County are eligible to apply for this funding.  Homebased businesses are also eligible to apply for up to $10,000.

Businesses must be in compliance with all State of Minnesota Executive Orders at the time of application and after they receive assistance.  If they are found in violation of any Executive Orders, they will be responsible for paying back any funding received under this program.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, but businesses must apply according to the following priority order.  Applications from a previous priority may apply in subsequent groups but understand that applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.  Priority order and application timeline is as follows:
