The Watertown EDA recently reviewed and adopted policy language to update the Business Subsidy Policy that added detail related to how the City would review, evaluate, and provide subsidy utilizing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and utility trunk fee waivers for economic development projects and for affordable housing. The Business Subsidy Policy has been updated to add language regarding criteria related to affordable housing. The EDA and City Council support this policy and shows the value placed on the creation of affordable housing. Way to go Watertown!
