(1) Property Site Manager
Carver County CDA is seeking 1 experienced Property Site Manager to oversee some of our sites within Carver County. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the properties, including marketing, resident selection and retention, leasing/orientation, rent collections, accounts payable, budgeting/financial review, unit inspections and adherence to fair housing practices.
Qualified applicants will have 1 to 3 years of rental housing experience, proven managerial skills including administrative, organizational, verbal/written communication, budgeting and accounting knowledge, marketing and computer abilities, and great people skills. YARDI property management software a plus.

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, non-exempt starting at $21.97-$24.54 an hour. CDA also offers an excellent benefit package including CDA paid employee medical insurance (with generous HSA contributions) and dental coverage (dependent coverage for health and dental insurance available at a reasonable cost through payroll deduction) and free employee and family life insurance, CDA paid short and long term disability insurance, participation in a defined contribution pension plan with a generous 11% agency contribution, 20 days per year of PTO earned on an accrual basis, and 11 paid holidays. Carver County CDA is seeking (3) Caretakers to perform caretaking/janitorial duties in CDA owned apartment and rental homes in Waconia and Chaska MN.
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, daytime hours. Starting pay from $16.09 per hour. Duties include cleaning of assigned common areas and cleaning of turns or vacated units. One-year prior commercial cleaning experience/rental community highly preferred. Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds required. Final candidates subject to a pre-employment physical and criminal background check.

Carver County CDA is seeking 1 Maintenance Technician. As a key member of the property team, this position provides maintenance, repair, and upkeep at a CDA owned and managed apartment and single-family rental homes throughout the County. Areas of responsibility include mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and lock repair. Maintenance Technicians are on call one week out of six, with paid over time and a stipend ($200) for the on-call week. While on call, employees must remain within 45 minutes of CDA owned properties, in Carver County.
Qualified applicants must have 1 to 3 years of experience in the above areas (rental apartment maintenance highly preferred) including basic plumbing, and electrical repair, appliance installation and repair, carpentry, HVAC, and general preventative maintenance. Special Class boilers license is preferred, or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire. Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds required.
